The trust responsible for the construction and maintenance of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir is officially known as the Ayodhya Ram Mandir Trust or Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra. Ram Mandir Trust Members

The trust for the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya will have a total of 15 members, out of which 9 are permanent members and 6 are nominated members. All members of the trust must be practicing Hindus. The breakdown of members is as follows:
Permanent members:
- K. Parasaran, who represented Shri Ram Lalla Virajmaan
- Four religious leaders from different temples across India
- A representative from the Nirmohi Akhara
- Two prominent civilians from Ayodhya district
- A Dalit representative
Nominated members:
- Two prominent persons to be elected by the trust through majority resolution.
- One representative to be nominated by the central government, who will be an IAS officer of joint secretary level or above.
- One representative to be nominated by the state government, who will also be an IAS officer.
- The District Magistrate of Ayodhya will be the ex-officio trustee unless the serving DM is not a Hindu, in which case an additional magistrate will sit on the board.
- The chairman of the Ram Mandir Trust Members committee will also be selected by the trust board and will be an ex-officio trustee.
Ayodhya Ram Mandir Trust President
Initially, the temple trust established by the government was under the leadership of Parasaran, who was responsible for nominating the remaining three members.
On 19 February 2020, the trust held its first meeting at Parasaran’s residence, where Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas’ chief, Mahant Nrityagopal Das Ji Maharaj, was elected as the Chairman, and VHP vice-president, Champat Rai, was elected as the General Secretary. Both of them were elected unanimously to the trust.
Nripendra Mishra, a former IAS officer and Principal Secretary was nominated as the Chairman of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir construction committee. Currently, Swami Govind Dev Giri Ji Maharaj serves as the Treasurer, and K. Parasaran is the Senior Spokesperson of the trust.
Out of the total of 15 trustees, only 11 have voting rights. The officers appointed by the state and central government, namely the district collector of Ayodhya and the representative of Nirmohi Akhara, will not be able to participate in the voting proceedings of the trust.

Ram Mandir Trust Donation

The trust has made the donation process accessible, allowing contributions through various channels, including online transfers, checks, and demand drafts. The trust maintains transparency to assure donors that their contributions, regardless of size, are dedicated to the construction and upkeep of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir.
According to the general secretary of the Trust, Champat Rai, the Trust has ₹3500 crore in its three bank accounts in Ayodhya which was collected through donations from across the country till February 2023.
